The Randolph-Macon Academy Summer Programs
The Randolph-Macon Academy not only offers day camps but offers residential camps as well, for student in grades 6th through 12th. The academy itself is located on 200 Academy Drive in Front Royal, VA and rests on over 135 gorgeous acres of land near the Shenandoah River. Not to mention, the additional beautiful mountainous views stretching east to west around the camp, close to the infamous Skyline Drive. The four week Flight Camp includes instructed dual-flight time in a Cessna 172 and ground school for students who have not yet learned to fly solo. Overnight camp facilities consist of two campers to each air conditioned dorm room.

Virginia Space Flight Academy
The Virginia Space Flight Academy is made for those attracted to the science of space adventure. Established in 1988, the academy welcomes middle school students in the age range from 11 to 15 years old. Once at camp students will be presented with opportunities to build as well as launch model rockets, program robots, and even fly drones. Additionally, students will be taken on tours of relevant locations such as NASAís nearby Wallop's Flight facility where they will be able to speak with scientist, engineers, and technicians who helped to build the program. This week long, co-ed, summer camp is located at the Chincoteague Bay Field Station, 34001 Mill Dam Road, Wallops Island, VA. There are optional 5 week regular Space Adventure Camps available as well.
EAA Air Academy
The sky's the limit at this dynamic aviation academy. Campers will be able to take part in several new experiences including aircraft flight, and aviation design. This co-ed, overnight, summer camp welcomes campers from the ages of 12 to 18 years. The EAA Air Academy is located in OshKosh, WI.
Camp Wings brings you two days of aerodynamics, history, rc aviation, pilots, and aircraft building. Plus, on day two campers will be offered the chance to board and assist in flying a real plane with an experienced member of the flight crew. Camp Wings is held on November 4th&5th as well as 11th&12th in Belleview, FL. This day camp is open to campers from the ages of 5 to 18 years old.
Air Combat USA
Air Combat USA is exactly how the title sounds, a flight camp meant for air-to-air combat. No you will not be flying a simulator but instead a real life, state of the art, military training aircraft. In flight you will learn how to aerial dog fight while adventure flying. The best part is that there is no pilotís license required. Establish in 1989, Air Combat USA has flown more than 22,000 students from all over the world. Plus, every flight is captured on video so that you may remember this epic experience for a lifetime. Located in Fullerton, CA, the Air Combat USA overnight camp welcomes students 12 and up.
National Flight Academy
The National Flight Academy is one of the top summer camps available to those focused on the engineering, technology, science, and mathematical education behind flight. At this day time summer camp, students 11-17 years of age will spend hours in virtual flight simulators and tinkering with top tier flight technology. The National Flight Academy camp is highly recommend for those near or able to travel to Pensacola, FL.
