Ruhr
Express, by Robert
Bailey
On the night of November 22, 1943, P/O Floren turned
theLancaster "Ruhr Express" away from Berlin
when the port outer engine failed. In this stunnning

Before German guards have the time to check their papers,
"Ruhr Express" arrives overhead during its dash
back to England. Even though it is running on three
engines, the aircrfat had trouble maintaining altitude.
The aircraft was KB700 and was the first Canadian

flown from Canada to England by Reg Lane, who then became
CO of 405 Squadron.
Each print is signed by eight Lancaster
