The pilot of an F-18 Hornet turns to salute our Statue of Liberty as he executes a close pass. The F-18 Hornet soon will replace the venerable F-14 Tomcat as the Navy’s premier front-line fighter. The Hornet is also the choice of the US Marine Corps and the Navy’s Blue Angels demonstration team.
