During WW II Adolf Galland commanded the famous
"Abbeville Boys" of JG 26 and was appointed Fighter
General of the Luftwaffe. He formed the elite "Squadron of
Experts" to fly the secret Me 262 and ended the war with 103
victories. He was the highest scoring pilot on the Western Front,
with most of his victories achieved against highly trained and
better equipped British and American pilots. With the recent
passing of this aviation legend, the Signature Series of Defiant,
but Doomed is sure to become a valuable investment and a
cherished collectable.
