The second release in a series of four tributes to the AVG,
this print is our tribute to the AVG's Second Pursuit Squadron. The scene
depicts a ground attack mission flown on January 3, 1942. Three AVG Panda
Bears arrived over a Japanese air field minutes after the Japanese fighters
were returning from an earlier raid. A ceremony was taking place, but the
AVG certainly spoiled the party.
| Each limited edition is co-signed by six surviving pilots from
the AVG's Second Pursuit Squadron - - including Tex Hill, who flew
on the mission depicted. |
